The Caribbean Anglican Consultation (CAC) is a biennial conference of
Caribbean Clergy and Laity who are serving the Anglican Church in North America and the
Caribbean. This series of consultations began in 1991. Originally, the purpose of these
conferences was to examine the ministry and ministry needs of the immigrant clergy and
people of Caribbean heritage in North America, to discover how they are contributing to
the life of their church communities and how the Church is responding to their needs.
As CAC continues to evolve, the clergy and people in the
Caribbean, and clergy and people who share in the ministry of Caribbean peoples, are
invited to share in this gathering for theological reflection and social interaction.
The sixth Caribbean Anglican Consultation was held from
June 4-7, 2001 at the Nassau Beach Hotel, Bahamas. The theme for this year's
Conference will be Celebrating What We Share.
We sought to identify and affirm the gifts and blessings with which we have been endowed,
and discover fresh ways of celebrating them in the course of our common mission and
ministry. Click here to see scenes from the Sixth CAC.
